Breath is the force of life, it imbues all aspects of our physical form, and from a Yogic perspective guides the very essence of life force, Prana into, through, and around every cell of our being.
Together we will study the relationship of Prana to your breath, how this relationship directly impacts your experience of aging, the structures of breathing and common barriers to breathing as well as 6 core pranayama (breath practices) that serve to open your channels for breathing, improve and tone your entire breathing systems, and balance your life force energy.
Open to all inquiring souls, this 4 week course is created to allow students to engage with the content in a way to meets their own learning style. Each week a new learning chapter will be made available through the course platform. Each chapter is comprised of lecture videos, yoga practices, assignments, and personal reflections.
We will have an opportunity to meet weekly during our live, online Zoom Gatherings. These gatherings will allow us to meet as a group, share learning, and ask questions. Gatherings will be scheduled at 7:00 pm MST on each Sunday of the course.
